Frequently Asked Questions
-
Is there a minimum number of hours?Normally yes, there is a four hour minimum. There are times when the minimum is not required. The vast majority of our business is weddings. Most people book us for their wedding on Saturdays from 2pm to 6pm or 3pm to 7pm. We typically sell out during these times on most weekends and obviously have a limited number of Saturdays. We can be more flexible on the minimum for other times. We will do everything we can to work with you and your schedule.

How much does it cost to rent a limo or party bus?Limo and bus rentals vary with the day of the week, the time of day, the pick you up location, how big a vehicle you need, how long you would like to use the vehicle etc. Our rates can be found here.

Your price is “all inclusive”. What does that mean?We hate hidden charges and fees! When we give you a price, that is REALLY what you will pay. We offer unlimited stops, unlimited miles. This means we will go as many places as you like, we will stop as many times as you want to stop and we will drive as far as your time allows. As a licensed federal motor carrier with interstate authority from the US Department of Transportation, we are exempt from sales tax. We also include a minimum gratuity for the chauffeur, tipping is optional, but greatly appreciated. One and done, all upfront. The only thing that could cost more is damage to the vehicle or if you want more time. We also provide bottled water, ice napkins and glassware along with a complementary bottle of champagne for weddings.

What is required to rent a limo or bus?You must be 21 or older to book a vehicle. We require a major credit card or debit card issued to and in the name of the person signing the agreement. The person renting the vehicle is responsible for the vehilce and their guests. There is also a 25% non-refundable deposit due at the time of booking. This amount is non-refundable from the moment you book with no exceptions. All reservations are non-transferable so please do not book a limo until you are sure. Once you place the deposit, we reserve the bus exclusively for you. We do not have a waiting list or take back up deals. We commit to you and simply ask you commit to us. Typically , the larger the vehicle the more in advanced they are booked. For this reason, we allow upgrades based on availability, but do not allow downgrading in size. A separate damage deposit is often required for night time rentals on the larger buses.

Is it OK if we have a couple of extra passengers?Unfortunately, no. The seating capacity listed is the most the vehicles can legally carry or as we like to say “best case scenario”! Ideally, you should rent a limo that seats 20% more than your group size. So, if you have 30 people, you should rent a vehicle seating at least 36. A brides dress alone for example, will take up an entire seat!! We use the same calculations as the airlines to determine our seating capacity. The difference is the airlines have arm rests to define each space. Our perimeter seating allows for people to spread out and they usually do. Our seating allowance is pretty generous compared to other operators. We have seen other limo companies advertise buses designed to carry 22 people as 28 passengers! As we get older, we seem to need more “personal space”. You are more than welcome to fill the limo to capacity, but please keep in mind everyone has different shapes, sizes and comfort levels. Completely full vehicles are also much more difficult to keep cool in the hotter months..
-
Can we bring alcohol on board?Yes! As long as someone on board is 21 years of age or older, alcohol is allowed. You still must be of legal age to consume alcoholic beverages. The person renting the limo is responsible for their guests, not the chauffeur. We do welcome coolers, but please no styrofoam as they always break or leak and could damage the limo.
-
Can we bring food?We do not allow eating on our vehicles. We do allow you to bring food for weddings, but it must be consumed outside of the vehicle. The issue with food is mice. No matter how well we clean, the mice always seem to find the leftovers! Not only do mice cause damage to vehicles, they are always unwelcome passengers. You would not be happy if you saw a mouse and neither will the next group.
-
I don’t have as many people as I thought, can I downgrade?"Unfortunately no. As a mostly weekend business with a limited number of vehicles and a limited number of weekends, we rely on our buses going out to pay our bills. Since we take your vehicle off the market when you book and sell out most weekends, we pass up other opportunities to rent the vehicle. The larger the vehicle, the more in advanced they are booked. We don’t get many customers with 40 friends asking to book a large bus at the last minute. We just can’t stay in business with our limos and buses sitting in the garage.
-
For a child’s birthday party, are parents required to be on board?"There is no requirement for older children for adults to be on board, but there must be an adult present when the kids are picked up at the start of the run and at the time they are dropped off at the end. Your chauffeur will speak with the adult and make a note of where the adult does not want the kids to travel. Our experienced chauffeurs use common sense, but may call the parent to clarify their wishes. This is why it is important to have a good contact number. Our chauffeurs have their hands full with their driving duties and are unable to fully supervise children.
-
How old must I be to book a limousine? We realize that 18 is the legal age to enter into a contract. However, more often than not there may be alcohol on board so we do require you be at least 21 years of age to book a vehicle.
-
Is smoking or vaping allowed in any of your vehicles?NO! Absolutely not under any circumstances. Smoking and vaping is prohibited in all of our vehicles. We try hard to maintain the integrity of our fleet. We will stop as many times and for as long as you want, but we have a zero tolerance policy on smoking in the vehicles.
-
When does my time start?Your time starts at the time specified on the contract. In most cases, we do not charge for the time it takes to get from our garage to your pick up location or the time it takes back to the garage after the final drop. However, we do limit this time to 30 minutes each way. Our 30 minutes covers 90% of the metro area. If your pick up is farther than this, there may be a small charge for travel or you can use part of your contracted time for the difference. Example, if your pick up and drop is 45 minutes away, there would be 30 minutes of travel time, If you book for 4 hours, but only need 3 1/2 hours, you can use the other 30 minutes for travel time.
-
Can we pay with a credit card? You can pay with a credit card. Please note, there is a 4% convenience fee on all credit and debit card payments.
